During the third quarter of 2024, the top consumer finance applications on the Android platform in South America demonstrated dynamic performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals intriguing insights into the weekly downloads and active users of these apps.

The Nubank: conta, cartão e mais app showed a vibrant download activity, peaking at around 852K in mid-July. However, it experienced a gradual decline towards the end of September, closing the quarter with approximately 511K downloads. Active users remained robust, starting the quarter at 43.4M and reaching a high of 47.2M in late July before settling at 45.1M by the end of September.

Nequi Colombia exhibited a notable upward trajectory in downloads, beginning at 261K in early July and climbing to a peak of 602K in early September. The app maintained a consistent user base, fluctuating slightly around the 3.7M to 3.9M mark throughout the quarter.
